Z.Vex Vexter Fuzz Factory Effect Pedal

I recently acquired my second Z.Vex "Vexter" Series Fuzz Factory. The "Vexter" features the same fundamental circuit design of the original Fuzz Factory, but includes an LED and built-in AC adapter jack. It's finish and warranty is stripped down from its more expensive predecessor.

This is one fun pedal to play with. It has 4 knobs, not including output volume, and I still haven't figured out what any of them actually do. That said, there are many hours of joy to be had in twiddling them.

It is capable of producing a nice, harmonically rich sustain for leads, which you can hear in the following clip:

Although its biggest weakness is probably chord work, it does an adequate job of producing some of the classic fuzz chord tones of the late 60s:
